Data collected

This website is an editorial site. It hosts no online shop, has no client accounts and does not collect any navigation data.

We may receive personal data in two circumstances:

  • Emails: when you write to one of our addresses, we only receive the information you choose to send us (name, email address, content of your message).
  • Letters from the atelier: when you subscribe to our editorial letter via the footer form, we collect your email address to send you our communications.

Purpose of processing

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • respond to your enquiries and carry on with a project with you;
  • send you, if you have consented, our editorial letter (notes from the atelier, works in progress, pieces to come).

Legal basis

Processing is based on your explicit consent when writing to us (article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and UK GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in replying to your enquiry (article 6(1)(f)).

Retention period

Email exchanges are kept for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry or follow a project with you, then deleted on request. We do not build any prospecting database.

Sharing of data

Email addresses collected through our editorial letter form are transmitted to our email service provider, Klaviyo Inc. (125 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02110, United States), acting as a data processor within the meaning of the GDPR. These transfers outside the European Economic Area are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Apart from this processor, no personal data is shared with third parties, sold or used for commercial purposes.

You may unsubscribe at any time through the link at the bottom of each letter received, or by writing to us.

Cookies

This website does not use any tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: to obtain a copy of your data.
  • Right of rectification: to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right of erasure: to request the deletion of your data.
  • Right to data portability: to receive your data in a structured format.
  • Right to object: to object to processing.

To exercise these rights, write to emilie@ampela.fr. We will reply within 30 days at most.
